The programme supports international research and development projects between SMEs and research partners from participating countries.
IraSME supports transnational research and development projects that strengthen innovation and competitiveness through international collaboration. The programme is open to all technology fields and focuses on the development of innovative products, processes and technical services with strong market potential.
Eligibility
- At least two companies from two participating countries are required (country-specific exceptions apply).
- Swiss applicants must comply with the national Innosuisse funding regulations.
- Projects should demonstrate technological innovation and significant technical risks.
- Project duration should be between 18 and 36 months.
Funding
Swiss participants are funded by Innosuisse according to the national funding regulations. Innosuisse may cover up to 70 % of the eligible Swiss project costs, depending on the organisation type. Eligible costs include personnel, material, travel and coordination costs.
Application process
Applications must be submitted to the IraSME Call and, in parallel, Swiss applicants must submit a national funding application to Innosuisse. Applicants are strongly advised to contact the relevant funding agency at an early stage to ensure compliance with the applicable national eligibility rules.
